Our full service repair department offers a variety of repairs to out-of-warranty and user-damaged iPods and iPhones.

NOTE1: WE WILL NOT COLLECT ANY IPOD OR IPHONE FROM THE POST OFFICE UNLESS WE RECEIVE AN ORDER AND PAYMENT FOR THE ITEM. THE ITEM WILL REMAIN AT THE POST OFFICE UNCLAIMED!
NOTE2: DUE TO AN INCREASE IN CREDIT CARD FRAUD WE CAN NO LONGER ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS FOR IPOD OR IPHONE REPAIRS. ONLY EFT IS CONSIDERED.
NOTE3: WE DO NOT HAVE A DROP OFF FACILITY. ALL ITEMS ARE TO BE SENT WITH SPEED SERVICE AS PER POINT 6 BELOW.
The process works as follows:
- If you know what the problem is on your iPod or iPhone, select and click your specific iPod or iPhone icon below and complete the problem description section that will appear.
- If you are unsure of what is wrong with your iPod or iPhone, click HERE.
- If you are unsure of what iPod you have, please refer to this page HERE.
- If you decide that we need to diagnose it for you, a R500-00 fee will be charged. If you decide to allow us to repair your device after the problem has been diagnosed then we will deduct the R500-00 off your repair bill. If you decide that you do not want us to repair the item, the diagnosis fee will NOT be refunded.
- Place your order in the usual manner and complete payment.
- Send the iPod or iPhone to us via Speed Services counter-to-counter to P.O. Box 742, Constantia, 7848, Western Cape. (This should cost you no more than R52.00)
- Make sure you send us the tracking number. Email it to sales@igear.co.za
- We will diagnose the problem on the iPod or iPhone and confirm the repairs match your diagnosis. If we see that we need to do any other work than on your order we will inform you and send you a quote before commence repairs.
- We commence the repairs on your confirmation.
- Please note - We do not collect any iPods from the Post Office if you have not paid for the initial repair.
Prices include labour, replacement parts and a handling cost of R50.00. Also, R75 will be added at checkout to cover packaging and shipping costs back to you.
Some repair items might not be on the list - if not, please drop us an email and we will try to assist you.
NOTE : We cannot be held liable for loss of music or any other information on your iPod or iPhone during the repair/diagnosis process. The onus is on the customer to backup their iPod or iPhone. We only repair components specified by the client unless we find any other problem during out repair process. If these components do not fix the underlying problem and we are not aware of it we cannot be held responsible.
