The rates above are irrespective of the size, weight or quantity of items you order. So the more items you order the cheaper it is for you!
iGear will not be responsible for incorrect details inserted on orders for shipping. It is the purchasers responsibility to use the correct postal codes and delivery addresses on their orders. Queries for incorrect addressed orders by the customer will not be entertained.
ADDITIONAL SHIPPING COSTS
Certain products will not necessarily be able to be shipped at the above base rates. Heavier and/or larger items (such as certain speaker systems) may attract up to R150 extra for shipping costs.
iGear uses the SA Post Office (EconoMail) or courier to ship your parcels nationwide to you. We have shipped over 8,000 parcels since January 2006 and not a single one has gone astray. In fact the largest problem we have is customers giving us the incorrect shipping addresses/postal codes or failing to collect their items at the post office when delivered. An option is provided at checkout for selecting delivery methods.
We can however not be held responsible for packages shipped via the South African Postal Services - strikes and any other political incident can affect delivery of a packge sent via The South African Postal Services.
You cannot cancel an order after it is shipped and proof of the tracking details has been mailed to you. Should you attempt to cancel an order we will report you to the relevant credit bureaux within South Africa and also blacklist you from further purchases on our Website.
VIA POST OFFICE
Shipping with the post-office is counter-to-counter (EconoMail Parcel Post) with tracking numbers (Tracking numbers begin with PE). This means the items are shipped to your nearest Post Office where you must collect your item with your ID document. You select the destination post office (shipping address) at time of placing your order. Your tracking number is emailed to you once the item has been shipped from our warehouse. For queries on the shipping status of your orders, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We cannot accept responsibility for orders shipped via SA Post Office that are held up at their depots for any reason nor will we accept responsibility for items arriving damaged should you choose this method of shipping. Items leave our warehouse in padded envelopes and extremely well packaged to prevent any damage in transit.We will however attempt to assist you in tracking a parcel as far as possible. Delays are however the absolute exception according to our experience and shipping via this method is the most cost effective solution. Items sent by the Post Office are not insured.
This method ships the items directly to your door and is available for major metropole areas such as Johannesburg, Pretoria, George, Knysna, Cape Town, Durban, Pietermaritzburg, Bloemfontein, Port Elizabeth and East London. Certain out of major centre areas are serviced - please enquire with email@example.com. if your area is serviced. This method doesn't ship any faster than the post office, it merely ships to your door as opposed to your nearest post office. Only complete (in stock) orders are available for shipping via this method, we cannot part-ship with courier. Please note that should you supply us with a PO BOX address when you have selected Courier as your preferred method of shipping then it will be sent via Speed Service overnight to your Post Office address you supplied on your order.
Our Delivery times depend on availability of stock and clearance of your payment. Most items are in stock (unless otherwise specified) and in this case you will receive your goods approximately 5 days (bank transfer) or 5 - 6 days (credit card) after order placement.
We will confirm your order within 24 hours of receipt. If items are out of stock it can take up to 15 working days to receive your order. Upon confirmation of your order you will be provided with an estimated ship date. Should there be a delay with regard to your delivery, you will be notified in email from the iPodWorld team. We may elect to part-ship portions of your order at our discretion and at no additional cost to you.
You will be provided with a notification and tracking number once your item has been shipped. You can check the status of your order at any time by clicking on the link provided with your original order confirmation. To confirm stock levels you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
If you have a query with your order once you have received it or have an item missing you need to contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order. Thereafter, we cannot entertain any queries for missing items after 24 hours of receipt.

We ship to Namibia, Botswana,Zambia, Zimbabwe, Lesotho and Swaziland for a flat rate of R695 for packages less than 1KG. Shipping is via SpeedServices to your nearest Post office counter and takes up to 10 working days. Please select the appropriate shipping method when you place your order. Incorrect shipping selections may delay your order.
Note we only accept bank transfers for international orders.
