Apple's 5th generation iPhone with new dual-core A5 processor (same as the iPad2) means graphics is now 7 x faster and multi-tasking under IOS5 is now twice as fast. Also new is airplay-mirroring, air-print and the amazing Siri voice-assistant ( “What’s the weather like today?” can be answered by the iPhone 4S with a forecast.)

The iPhone 4S retains the incredible Retina display, the screen is a 3.5 inch widescreen multitouch display with a resolution of 960 by 640 pixels with a total 326 pixels per inch and incredible 800:1 contrast ratio. The new Retina display can display up to four times more detail than on the iPhone 3GS.

Battery wise, there is now 8 hours (up from 7) talk-time on 3G and 14 hours on 2G. Standby time is 200 hours and internet use is up to 6 hours on 3G and 9 hours on WiFi. Video playback is up to 10 hours and audio playback is up to 40 hours.
