The standard iPad/iPhone limited 12-month hardware warranty requires you take your device into the store and have it checked out for a hardware fault. If a fault is diagnosed, the item is sent away for repair which could mean you are up to 2-3 weeks without your device! If the fault is as a result of misuse or accidental damage, the warranty claim is voided.

With the VitalCare Protection Package you get the following:

2. Accidental breakage replacement
3. Hardware warranty extended from 12 to 18 months.



1. IMMEDIATE SWAP-OUT (12 MONTHS)
No more waiting for repairs! We immediately swap out your faulty device with one of our standby units while your device is being repaired, so you do not miss a beat. Once your faulty device is repaired you have the option to keep the standby unit or replace it with your original device. You do not even have to move out your front door - we send a courier to collect and replace at a location of your choice within South Africa.

2. ACCIDENTAL BREAKAGE (12 MONTHS)
Accidents happen! VitalCare allows up to one claim for accidental breakage from drops, spills and power surges, subject to a R400 service fee. Still a lot cheaper than spending R8,000-R10,000 for a replacement! Note that this excludes scratches,dents, wear & tear, perishing, fading and other superficial damage that does not render the device unusable.


3. EXTENDED WARRANTY (18 MONTHS)
For further peace of mind, VitalCare extends your standard manufacturer limited hardware warranty from 12 to 18 months, with battery replacement during this time subject to a R200 service charge.

VitalCare runs parallel to your standard 12-month National iGear limited hardware warranty and can only be purchased for an iPad2 or iPhone 4S obtained from us within the prior 2 months of your VitalCare purchase.

To make a claim, you email us for a claim form, fill it in and send it back to us. We will then dispatch a courier to your house to collect the faulty device. After we have received your device and inspected it we dispatch your replacement device from our standby stock (not necessarily new) within 24 hours. When your item is repaired you have the option of keeping the replacement or swapping it back with your original device.
